Qualification Process:

Prospective new members will work with the Assistant Director to determine voice placement (which part should you sing: bass, baritone, lead, or tenor).

The next step is to learn your part of a song (Keep The Whole World Singing), which is a standard that we sing as the last song of the night after every rehearsal. You can get a head start on learning your part for this song by downloading the PDF file of the music and your part to listen to and practice with.

What do we do?
We rehearse:
You'll notice that we're not using sheet music. That's because we learned our music at home  using online resources (sheet music and learning tracks). That way, rehearsals are more productive and more fun!

Singing is Good for You!

The latest impact report study, "Singing for a Lifetime," was commissioned by Chorus America over the last decade on the social and civic impact of choruses in America. It is the go-to source for understanding the benefits of choral singing. This latest study also provides a current look at the array of social, health, and psychological benefits that older chorus members reap now and over a lifetime. Check it out and join the Chorus or make a gift to support our harmonies!
